Spiced Green Bean Bundles

Ingredients
Fresh Green Beans
Olive Oil
Favorite Spices (Such As Garlic Powder, Black Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes, Or Herb Blends)
Bacon Slices
Salt (Optional, To Taste)

Wash and trim the fresh green beans.

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt. Blanch the green beans for 2–3 minutes, until they turn vibrant green.

Remove green beans from boiling water and immediately place in an ice bath or run under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Once cooled, pat the green beans dry and place them in a large bowl.

Toss green beans with olive oil and favorite seasonings to taste. Omit salt initially since the bacon is salty; add a pinch if desired.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Cut raw bacon strips in half to prepare for bundling.

Gather about 5–7 green beans per bundle, wrap a piece of bacon around the center, and secure with a toothpick.

Arrange bundles in rows on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until bacon is cooked through and bundles are crispy to your liking.
