Ingredients

2 Sticks Butter Or Margarine

1 1/2 Cups Sugar

3 Eggs

1 Cup (8 Oz) Sour Cream

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

2 1/2 Cups Cake Flour

1 Teaspoon Almond Flavoring

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

1/2 Cup Crushed Pecans (Optional Or Do Some With And Some Without)

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Cream butter, sugar, and eggs (add one egg at a time).

  3. 3

    Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda).

  4. 4

    Using mixer, alternate adding sifted ingredients and sour cream to creamed ingredients and add almond flavoring.

    Grease and flour three aluminum cake pans.

  6. 6

    Evenly pour batter into the three cake pans.

    Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and finely chopped pecans (optional).

    Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over all three cakes.

    Use a knife to cut cinnamon sugar mixture into batter.

  10. 10

    Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon mixture on top of the cakes.

    Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
